OUR STORY
Life is hard.
Especially for young adults and teens. Technology, peers, family, expectations, the state of the world, not to mention, hormones, identity… it’s all too much.
We get it. We see young people dealing with anxiety, depression, or __________ every day.
To truly help, you need someone who’s been there and come out the other side with courage and clarity. We can show you how we did it, and together we can find the light at the end of your tunnel.
Our struggles may not be the same, but we can give you the tools that will work for any of life’s obstacles.
Ultimately, our goal is to guide and equip young adults, like you so you can keep climbing higher in this journey called life.
That’s what we call going from a valley to a mountain.
You can get through this, and anything else life throws at you. We’re simply here to help you figure out how to move from the valley to the mountain and gain the confidence to keep moving on while marveling at how far you’ve come.
VLY x MNT VALUES
WE ARE ALL EQUALS...
I’m not any better than you, or you better than me, so let’s talk and see what happens.
WHAT YOU SHARE STAYS WITH ME...
No fingers crossed behind my back. I don’t like being lied to and I bet you don’t either.
I GENUINELY WANT TO UNDERSTAND...
Part of why I do what I do is because I genuinely want to understand your struggles and guide you through to a place of clarity and healing. So you can be your best you in this big wide-open world.
WHAT-YOU-SEE-IS-WHAT-YOU-GET...
I don’t try to be someone I’m not. Authenticity is important, and I know I gotta be real with you if I want you to be real with me. I’m not going to put up a bunch of walls and create barriers between us, like some counselors and therapists. It’s not how I roll.
I'M PICK-UP-TRUCK DEPENDABLE...
I can handle pretty much any terrain we walk through together, and if not, we can grab some more tools and skills to get us out of the muddy valley and up the mountain.
LAID-BACK—NOT LAZY...
Don’t mistake chill for lazy, because I’m all about moving up and out of life’s valleys and up onto mountains of understanding, not lingering in them.
WORDS FROM THE WISE...
They say you shouldn’t take advice from someone who is in the same spot as you, and it’s true. If you want to get out of a struggle, you gotta get help from someone who has perspective and can see you through. That’s the kind of wisdom I share with you.
